ガタガタ	震える	tremble with fear	Almost hit by a car, the dog was trembling with fear. あやうく車にひかれそうになったその犬はガタガタと震えていた。
ぐらぐら	落ち着かない	wobbly; unsteady; be loose	It's a pity, when you are old, your teeth become loose and can't eat hard food. 困ったもので、年を取ると、歯がぐらぐらしてきて、固いモノは食べられなくなる。

どぎまぎ	落ち着かない	get rattled	I got rattled as I thought someone might ask me a hard question at the conference. 会議でキツイ質問をされるんじゃないかと思ってどぎまぎしていた。
はっと	驚く	stunning; be startled out of ...	I was startled out of my sleep by a big noise at midnight. 夜中の大きな物音ではっとして目が覚めた。
はらはら	落ち着かない様子	be on pins and needles; kept in suspense	They were on pins and needles because their boss was completely drunk and would do anything shameful again. 彼らは上司が全く出来あがっていて、また何か恥ずかしいことをしでかしはしないかとはらはらしていた。
びくびく	恐れる様子	tremble; give the jitters	Hard attitude of the money lenders gives him the jitters at the end of every month. 月末になると、金貸しのキツイ取り立てで、彼はびくびくする。
ひやひや	落ち着かない様子	be on pins and needles; kept in suspense	To work under a dull boss means to put your career at risk. You are kept in suspense all the time. 出来の悪い上司のもとで働くということはキャリアを危険にさらすことである。たえずひやひやすることになる。
ひやり	落ち着かない様子	get a fright	I took the notorious airline and got a fright several times during the flight. 悪名高きあのエアラインに乗ったが、フライトの間何度かひやりとさせられた。
ふらふら	迷う	indecisive	As he was too indecisive to marry her, his girlfriend started seeing other man. 彼があまりにも結婚に対してふらふらしているので、彼女は他の男性と付き合い始めた。
ぶらぶら	揺れる	swing	A pair of socks hanged from the pole are swinging in the wind. さおに吊り下げているソックスが、風にぶらぶらと揺れている。
ぶるぶる	震える	shiver; tremble	The air conditioner of my office was out of function, and we were shivering with cold. 会社のエアコンが動かなくなってわたしたちはぶるぶる震えていた。
まごまご	迷う	dillydally	While he was dillydallying over what he should bring out, everything was burnt in the fire. 何を持ち出すべきかとまごまごしている間に何もかも火事で燃えてしまった。
もじもじ	落ち着かない様子	feel uneasy	My nephew looks uneasy whenever a stranger visit the house. 甥は知らない人が家に来るともじもじする。
もぞもぞ	落ち着かない様子	fidget	He seems to be bored and keeps fidgeting during the meeting. 彼は退屈していたらしく、会議の間じゅうもぞもぞしている。
もたもた	迷う	dawdle; dillydally	There is a chance here and there. It's just others take it while you are dawdling. チャンスはあちこちにある。ただもたもたしている間に他の人に取られてしまうだけなんだ。
やきもき	落ち着かない様子	fretting	The young man is fretting because his date is not coming. その若い男はデートの相手が来ないのでやきもきしている。
ゆらゆら	揺れる	sway; waver	The hanging bridge swayed when we walked on. 吊り橋は、わたしたちが渡るとゆらゆらと揺れた。
わなわな	震える	tremble all over	Told that she was fired, she trembled all over with anger. クビだと言われて彼女は怒りでわなわなと震えた。
