ずばり	言う	frankly	Please speak frankly. ずばり言ってくれ。
たんたん	言う	dispassionately; unmoved	She remained unmoved when she described the accident she saw. 彼女はたんたんとその事故のことを説明した。
ぬけぬけ	言う	dare to say	He dared to say that he was the most excellent designer. 彼はぬけぬけと自分がもっとも優れたデザイナーだと言った。
はきはき	言う	brisk and active; promptly and clearly	Speak out promptly and clearly when you say something. 意見を言うときははきはきと発言しなさい。
ぶうぶう	言う	complain	Workers start to complain as soon as they heard what the chief said. チーフの言葉を聞くやいなや、労働者はぶうぶう言い出した。
ぶつぶつ	言う	grumble; mumble	Stop grumbling and do it now. ぶつぶつ言ってないで、さっさとやりなさい。
ぺちゃくちゃ	おしゃべり	slurp	Schoolgirls were slurping when the teacher came into the room. 教師が教室に入ってきたとき、女学生はぺちゃくちゃおしゃべりしていた。
べらべら	言う	babble; blab; blabber; ramble	To my surprise, he blabbed the secret. 驚いたことに、彼は秘密をべらべらしゃべっていた。 She kept rambling about her dream. 彼女は自分の夢についてべらべら話し続けていた。
ぼそっと	言う	say something in a low (and indistinctive) voice	He said that he had married in a low voice. 彼はぼそっと結婚したと言った。
ぼそぼそ	言う	talk in a low and unclear voice	My parents were talking in a low and unclear voice after we went to bed at night. 両親はわたしたちが寝たあとぼそぼそと話をしていた。 Note 上の「ぼそっと」よりも「ぼそぼそ」のほうが時間的に長いという違いがあり、英語では動詞のニュアンスで使い分けています。
ぽつり	言う	mutter	"I failed, " he muttered." 彼はぽつりと「失敗した」と言った。
ぽろぽろ	こぼす	drop bits of ...	Don't drop bits of food when eating. 食べ物をぼろぼろこぼさないよう。

ポンポン	言う	be very outspoken	The lady is quite outspoken. 彼女はポンポンものを言う。
むにゃむにゃ	言う	mumble	He always mumbles when asked about it. 彼はそのことを聞かれるといつもむにゃむにゃ言っている。
もぐもぐ	言う	mumble	The old man mumbles because he has no teeth left. そのおじいさんは歯がないのでもぐもぐと話す。
