なみなみと	注ぐ	to the brim	The waiter filled the mug to the brim with beer. ウェイターはビールをコップになみなみと注いだ。
ばたばた	忙しい	hectic	Sorry we couldn't make it, we had just moved and things were hectic. 行けなくてすみません。なにしろ引っ越したばっかりでばたばたしてたものですから。 Note 「ばたばた」も「てんてこまい」も要は「忙しい」ということですが、 hectic のほうが、 busy よりも大騒ぎしているニュアンスが出ています。
ばりばり	働く	work like blazes	The staff are working like bees while the boss, like blazes. スタッフはあくせく働き、ボスはばりばり働く。
びっしり	大量	be filled with ...; packed like sardines	I received a letter filled with complaints about my book from one of the readers. 読者の一人から私の本についてびっしりと苦情が書かれた手紙を受け取った。
ぴっちり	窮屈な	tight-fitting	As I have gained weight recently, my old clothes are tight-fitting. 最近太ってしまって、昔の服がぴっちりしてきました。
ぼうぼう	繁殖	weeds overrun	When they returned home after several years, the garden was overrun with weeds. 何年かして彼らが家に戻ってみると、庭が草ぼうぼうの状態になっていた。
まるまる	長い期間	whole ...	It was a good reunion, because we had not seen each other for a whole decade. まるまる10年も会っていなかったので、なつかしかった。
もうもう	大量の煙	belch smoke	It was once a heavily-industrialized area, and the factory chimneys were belching columns of black smoke every day. かっては工業地帯で工場の煙突からは毎日もうもうと煙が上がっていた。
